Kari Zalik joins us on the podcast today. Kari is a Publicist with Bad Parade @badparadeco, a music publicity firm focused on bringing musical talent to every corner of Canada. Kari began her career at Maple Music Recordings in Toronto and then progressed to artist publicity management. From launching albums to promoting tours and everything in between, she has worked to ensure maximum visibility for any artist or band's projects. We sit down and talk to Kari about the role of a publicist for musicians, how her role has changed in the streaming era, and why she chose this path in the first place.
