With over fifteen years of experience as a professional musician, he brings a unique approach to the world of autism support. Diagnosed with Asperger's Syndrome at the age of fourteen, he travels the country helping parents, professionals, and educators better understand people on the autism spectrum. He also published a book called "From Surviving to Thriving: Classroom Accommodations for Students on the Autism Spectrum". This teacher's resource takes a fresh look at classroom systems for students on the autistic spectrum. We connected with Jonathan over the internet and spoke about how he got started in music, why he chose to become an autism advocate, and much more. Enjoy responsibly
