Episode 62

The business and the music with Pavlo

In today’s episode, we connect with the internationally renowned artist Pavlo! Born in Toronto to Greek parents, Pavlo has made a name for himself by offering a musical amalgam he calls “Mediterranean music” – a blend of Greek, flamenco, Latin, and even Balkan flavours, wrapped in contemporary pop. His music has taken him all around the world; along the way, he’s performed for royalty like Prince Charles and worked or toured with artists such as Jon Secada, Olivia Newton-John, and The Tenors. In this conversation, Pavlo shares his early beginnings in Toronto’s Greek community, the secret to his success, and how he’s dared to do what he loves and the drive to do it well.
